The Risk Portal is a risk management service that provides users with daily analysis on global security and business risks.

Analysis

The Risk Portal gives users up-to-date information and analysis on global affairs. Services include:

• Email Updates: Daily incident bulletins and instant alerts, which can be customised to give each user control over the information they receive.
   
• Country Profiles: Risk assessments of a country’s regulatory environment and security threats, including terrorism, international war, civil unrest, kidnap, crime, corruption and piracy.
  
  
   

• PGI Insight: Forward-looking analysis of business, political and security developments.
  
  

PGI analyses information from a combination of open-source and in-country sources.

Each threat assessment uses both qualitative analysis and a quantitative ranking system developed by PGI.

Mapping & Charting

The Risk Portal allows users to visualise information in a unique and instantly understandable way.

Mapping filters enable the visualisation of incidents by threat category, time period, perpetrator and target type.

Risk Portal charting allows users to generate interactive graphics illustrating security and business trends within a country or region over a period of time. Users can build bespoke graphs according to territories, threat categories and industry interests.

Report Builder

Risk Portal users can upgrade their accounts to include the Report Builder and Country Profile Generator features.

The Report Builder allows users to select information, data and images from the Risk Portal and create bespoke reports and emails, saving time on a range of tasks, including:

• Situation reports and threat assessments
• Travel security briefings and journey management plans
• Board presentations
• Weekly and monthly reporting

Bespoke Solutions

Subscribers to PGI’s Bespoke services receive tailored analysis on specific sectors and geographies of interest, delivered at a frequency they determine. All bespoke reporting is stored within a private access archive in the Risk Portal.
